Visual Journeys: Exploring the Idea of Escape

 

As part of a project for Airbnb France, several illustration series were developed for a marketing campaign centered on the theme of travel and escape. The project aimed to visually express the idea of getting away, not through a single destination, but through immersive and evocative visual worlds. Different universes were explored, drawing inspiration from places such as Japan, Egypt, and Thailand, each suggesting a distinct sense of discovery and escapism.

Through this exploration phase, one series stood out: In the Jungle, composed of four illustrations. This series focuses on a lush fauna and vegetation, without referencing a specific country, favoring a more universal and atmospheric approach to travel. By emphasizing mood and imagination rather than geographic location, the selected visuals convey a broad sense of escape. A dedicated graphic style was developed for the project, reinforcing a playful, visual, and immersive aesthetic aligned with the brand’s communication and storytelling.
